Easter 2005 was the first year we chose Sun Peaks for our ski vacation - and loved it ever since. Now, we're even coming in the summer.

First, the enchanted European-style look captured our heart. Then, while dining at the Powder Hounds restaurant in the Fireside Lodge, the village lost power. It turned into a candle light dinner where possibly more than one guy might suddenly feel uncomfortable with such an increased amount of romance in the air. 

And lastly of course the great snow conditions, as most of the mountains are a meadow, which makes skiing super soft.

Around 900 residents call Sun Peaks their home. The community keeps growing, and so are many buildings and municipal services, as well as th latest chairlift "The Orient Express".

Sun Peaks is truly the best mountain resort for families, equally for winter and summer vacation. Come and try it out yourself!
